Reunion Details
After considering many of your ideas, thoughts, suggestions, etc...
The '77Seven came up with two possible scenarios for our 35th Class Reunion Weekend tentatively scheduled for July 13, 14 & 15, 2012.
We have recently asked the question if you would prefer to have this reunion in July or if you would prefer late fall. Please visit our facebook and comment after the post asking this question or email your peference to .
Our first proposal:
These events are built around the relaxed, “home town” weekend that some of you have been asking for, that would include:
- An informal Friday night Meet & Greet at the American Legion Hall on Gully Rd. in Neptune from 7:30 – 11:30 pm
- A family Bar-B-Q on Saturday afternoon at Shark River Park from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm
- On Sunday evening, a return to the Gully Rd. American Legion Hall for a closing "get-together" with live music from 7:00 – 11:00 pm
Our second proposal:
Some of you have asked for a weekend that has a more "cosmopolitan feel"...That scenario would include:
- Friday night Meet & Greet at Chico’s House of Jazz in Asbury Park, with live music from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
- Saturday Luncheon and Reunion Ceremony at Mc Cloone’s on the Boardwalk in Asbury Park from noon to 4:00 p.m.
- Sunday family picnic at Shark River Park from noon to 6:00 p.m.
The dress code for all the events on both weekends would be casual and the cost for both scenarios is virtually the same
at between $65 - $70 per person, for the entire package. That’s a whole weekend full of events!
