Charles Vernon, 53, of Long Branch, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at home. He was born in Neptune. Charles was a clerk at BJ’s Wholesale in Ocean Township. He attended Second Baptist Church in Asbury Park.
He was predeceased by his father, Robert Vernon; and 2 sisters, Judy and Barbara Vernon. Charles leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Cleo Vernon of Neptune; 4 sisters, Kathy (Troy) Vernon of CT, Shirley Cattouse of Long Branch, Joyce (James) Wynn of VA, Peggy Vernon of Neptune, and Robert Ann Levy of Ocean; 1 brother, William Vernon of Neptune; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 28 until the funeral services at 11 a.m. at Second Baptist Church, 124 Atkins Ave., Asbury Park. Interment will be at Monmouth Memorial Park in Tinton Falls. Jackson Funeral Home, 242 Neptune Blvd., Neptune, is in charge of arrangements.
