KATHRYN M PICKARD died suddenly on January 6, 2017.
She was born Neptune, NJ where she attended Neptune High School and graduated in 1977. Kathy furthered her education in 2006 at the American Intercontinental University earning her Associate of Arts in Business Administration with Honors. Her career blossomed for 36 years of dedicated service with CIGNA. Bloomfield, CT Upon moving to CT, Kathy became active in Community Theater. An award winning actress, Kathy won ACTCONN’s Best Supporting Actress In a Play for her powerful portrayal of Dr. Emma Brookner in the Windsor Jester’s production of “The Normal Heart.”
Kathy was predeceased by her father John Waverly Pickard, she is survived by her mother Mildred Pickard, Her brother and sister- in -law William and Jacklyn Neal, Her sister, Shonda Neal, A step brother John Copeland, A niece, Rhonda Neal, Her nephews Kenneth Gill and Kyle Gill and many great nieces, nephews cousins aunts and uncles. Her beloved friends Paula Murphy and Mary Davenport, and Michael Guest and John Kasper.
We will gather for a Celebration of Life Ceremony 1/14/2017 at Adams Mill 165 Adams St, Manchester, CT.
