Drew John Dafeldecker, 64, of Eatontown, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Drew was born in Newark, NJ on March 8, 1959. In 1963 his family moved to Neptune where he and his siblings were raised. He graduated from Neptune High School in 1977 where he was an avid soccer and baseball player. After working in the tile setting industry and as a delivery driver for Modern Beverage, he began his career with the United States Post Office. He retired from the Eatontown Post office in 2021.
Drew was predeceased by his father, John “Jack” Dafeldecker, his mother, Joan Diehm Dafeldecker and his older brother Mark Dafeldecker. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Bob Malone, West Belmar, NJ, his brother Paul Dafeldecker, Neptune, NJ, sister-in-law Cheryl Dafeldecker, Citrus Park, FL, niece Erin (Chris) Mellnick, Tampa, FL, nephew Colin Dafeldecker, Odessa, FL, and great nephews Logan and Brooks Mellnick, Tampa, FL.
Ely Funeral Home in Neptune is in charge of the arrangements. Per his wishes, all services will be private.
